台玻玻璃種類

常用玻璃規格

對窯燒玻璃而言，最容易取得之玻璃原料，即以台灣玻璃生產之平板玻璃為主，利用台灣玻璃所生產之現有原料進行切割、變形、上釉加工等燒製成琉璃或藝術玻璃製品，目前國內在窯燒玻璃上較常使用台灣玻璃之玻璃種類約略如下：

一、浮式明板玻璃 (即一般常用之略帶綠色之玻璃)
浮式明板玻璃
浮式明板玻璃係玻璃膏經控制閘門進入錫槽，由於地心引力及本身表面張力作用浮於熔融錫表面上後，再進入徐冷槽，使玻璃兩面平滑均勻，波紋消失而製成。
二、浮式色板玻璃
浮式色板玻璃
浮式色板玻璃是以調拌適量色料配方之玻璃膏經控制閘門進入錫槽，由於地心引力及本身表面張力作用浮於熔融錫表面上後，再進入徐冷槽，使玻璃兩面平滑均勻，波紋消失而製成。包括法國綠色、海洋藍色、茶色、灰色等。
三、優白玻璃
優白玻璃是由浮式明板玻璃，去除微量的雜色，降低玻璃中的鐵含量所製造出清澈透明的玻璃。優白玻璃的低鐵含量，使其具有比明板玻璃更優越的光學性能，及更高的可見光透過率，大大的提升太陽熱能透過率。
